Benfica president closes the door on Joao Felix's return
Ruy Costa, president of the Portuguese club Benfica, spoke about the possibility of signing Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix this summer.
Costa said in press statements: “It is not possible that Benfica is paying what Atletico Madrid wants today for Joao Felix.”
He added: “We would like to bring him back, but it does not seem possible for us at all.”
Felix played on loan last season in Barcelona, and the player wants to continue with the Catalan team, but the player is not a priority for Barcelona currently.
