Al Ahly prepare Zakaria Hawsawi during international break

Zakaria Hawsawi, the left-back for Al Ahly FC, is close to regaining his participation with the team as he enters the final stage of his rehabilitation program to recover from the injury that kept him off the pitch.

Al Ahly FC's medical staff are intensifying their efforts to prepare the player during the current international break, in order to facilitate his return to group training as soon as possible.

Hawsawi is undergoing continuous medical monitoring to regain his fitness and prepare him technically before returning to team training.

The player suffered a tear in the posterior cruciate ligament during the Saudi national team's match against Iraq in the Arabian Gulf Cup 27.

The injury has forced the left-back to stay away from participation and undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program that extended until he reached the final stage of his recovery journey.

Al Ahly FC's coaching staff, led by manager Marino Pusic, hopes to benefit from Hawsawi's return in the upcoming phase to enhance the available options at left-back as the season's competitions continue.
