Sekka El Hadid coach: My goal is to qualify at the expense of Al Ahly

Mohamed Halim, the coach of Sekka El Hadid, has confirmed that his goal is to qualify at the expense of Al Ahly in the Egypt Cup, pointing out that the Red Devils are a prestigious club with a large fan base and filled with stars. However, he noted that the star-studded squad poses a problem for them in matches.

Halim said in television statements via Modern Channel: "It is a legitimate right for all clubs; cup matches are full of surprises. Al-Hussein Amouta, the coach of Al Ahly FC, is interested in all competitions, as evidenced by the fact that the African Championship is going well. In the last match, El Mokawloon SC performed very well in the Egypt Cup."

He added: "The match against Al Ahly FC represents a big fan encounter for us and we will be seen well. I am talking to the Sekka El Hadid players that this is our match, and my first and last concern is the league, but I want to qualify in the Egypt Cup at the expense of the Reds."

He continued his speech: "The name of Al Ahly FC is big, and we take into account the whole team. If Marwan Ateya does not participate, my team will play comfortably on the pitch, because he is the most consistent player in recent times and his attacking side has developed."

He added: "In Emam Ashour's first season at Harras El Hodoud, I was the general coach of the team and Emad Soliman was the head coach, and I know him well. If he is in good form, he will be one of the best players in Egypt. He has very high technical abilities and has greatly underestimated himself."

He concluded his statements: "Emam Ashour, at the beginning, wanted to make a big name for himself. I think his mentality needs to change a bit; he has matured now, but there should be more maturity than that. He has the potential to play in the best teams in Europe, and he is not doing justice to himself. I advise him to focus more because he has abilities that he has not exploited."
