Murad Abdel Hafiz Al-Aqouri, the vice president of Al Ahly FC, revealed the behind-the-scenes details of his club's previous interest in signing Ahmed Fatouh, the left-back of Zamalek SC. Al-Aqouri clarified the rumors regarding the possibility of reviving negotiations with the player to sign him during the upcoming winter transfer window.

In a television interview on the "Al Laeeb" program on MBC Masr, Murad Abdel Hafiz Alqouri confirmed that Al Ahly FC management had indeed contacted Ahmed Fatouh's agent to discuss the possibility of signing him. He pointed out that the negotiations were not completed due to some obstacles that arose, without revealing details about the reasons for the deal's halt.

The club has quickly moved to make additional signings, securing a left-back from Algeria. The player is seen as an addition to the team, which led the management to reconsider signing Ahmed Fatouh.

The vice president of Al Ahly FC has firmly denied the possibility of reopening negotiations with Zamalek SC's star during the upcoming January transfer window. He confirmed that the file for signing Ahmed Fatouh is completely closed, indicating that the Libyan club has successfully secured a replacement and signed another player to occupy the left-back position.

Regarding the Al Ahly FC duo, Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany, Al-Aqouri preferred to remain neutral, confirming that he has no official or confirmed information about any movements or negotiations from Ahli Benghazi to sign them, and emphasizing his commitment to not making any inaccurate statements in this regard.
