Urgent Spanish warning for FC Barcelona regarding Hamza Abdelkarim

Spanish journalist Germán Bouna has issued a warning to FC Barcelona regarding player Hamza Abdelkarim.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Egyptian star Hamza Abdelkarim made a historic leap with FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League; he played a full half with the youth team (under 19) against Aston Villa, before being included in the same evening in the first team's squad for the match against the same opponent in the league stage of the continental competition.

Jerman has warned FC Barcelona about Hamza Abdelkarim's distraction between the first team and youth teams, explaining that the club must be careful in its dealings with the Egyptian star.

Bouna wrote: "We said before that the officials at FC Barcelona are really happy with Hamza Abdelkarim, and they feel completely satisfied with the player's behavior. Although he is only 18 years old, he has gained a lot of experience by participating in the FIFA World Cup and is seen in Egypt as a phenomenon."

He added: "Hamza Abdelkarim is capable of adapting to any situation, making him a role model when looking to sign any new player, as the player that FC Barcelona brings in must be exceptional on all levels, not just in terms of football."

Hamza Abdelkarim's situation yesterday was a unique one, as the player was with the Under-19 team without having trained with them. After participating in the first half against Aston Villa, he was substituted and went to join the first team, as Hans Flick called him up for the match against Aston Villa. This reflects the strength of his character, as the player is always ready to participate, while FC Barcelona believes that Hamza getting minutes in matches will contribute to his development.

Completed: "We must handle Hamza Abdelkarim with caution, and avoid turning exceptional matters into something routine, as this may distract the player and regarding the coach guiding him, whether it's Hans Flick, or Juliano Belletti, or Paul Blanès, FC Barcelona must deal with this issue in a balanced manner, and I am sure the club is aware of what it is doing."
