Doubts over Rodri's participation against Atlético
Doubts surround Rodri's participation in FC Barcelona's upcoming match against Atlético after he felt pain in his thigh muscles during the Aston Villa game, leading him to leave the pitch at half-time.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", the player will undergo medical tests today at the Juan Gamper Sports City to determine the nature and severity of a potential injury.
Hans Flick spoke about his player's condition after the match, stating: "He felt some muscle pain, and we have to wait until tomorrow". They are awaiting the results of the tests to determine his final status.
Rodri's participation against Atlético on November 8 at the Metropolitano is in doubt, as FC Barcelona does not want to risk playing him before ensuring his fitness.
Rodri has started in 11 of 14 official matches this season, and he has played alongside Pedri in 10 matches, while he played alongside Gavi in the match against Real Betis.
