Barcelona's stance on signing Lisandro Martínez
FC Barcelona are considering signing Argentine Lisandro Martínez, Manchester United defender, during the upcoming winter transfer window, as part of the Catalan club's efforts to strengthen their defense, especially after injuries have hit this position.
According to Spanish newspaper "Sport", FC Barcelona will not move to sign Lisandro Martínez unless they can complete the deal for a low financial cost, given the limited budget available to the club during January.
FC Barcelona may have to sell some players before making big signings to generate the necessary funds to strengthen the squad during the second half of the season.
Lisandro Martínez's contract with Manchester United expires in June 2027, with the English club holding an option to extend it for an additional season.
