Liverpool compete with Manchester United and Milan to sign Balde
Liverpool are targeting a move for Alejandro Balde, the Barcelona full-back, during the upcoming winter transfer window, amid interest from several clubs in the player who has seen his appearances decline under Hans Flick.
According to "TEAMtalk", Balde has become open to leaving in January, having played only 101 minutes in La Liga and 16 minutes in the UEFA Champions League this season, while Barcelona are not opposed to letting him go.
The report indicated that Manchester United are interested in the player, alongside Liverpool and Milan, with the Spanish full-back welcoming the chance to experience the Premier League.
Spanish journalist Juan Jesús reports that three clubs are actively pursuing Balde, with Barcelona demanding at least €45 million for his departure.
Andoni Iraola and Rubén Amorim are impressed by the player's potential and believe he fits the playing style each of them employs.
Liverpool are looking to strengthen the left-back position, with Kírikēs not reaching the expected level and Kostas Tsimikas' contract nearing its end next summer.
