Tottenham face Bournemouth's stance on Junior Kroupi deal
Tottenham have renewed their interest in signing Junior Kroupi, the AFC Bournemouth striker, after his return from injury that kept him out of action during the summer, amid competition from several major clubs.
Kroupi scored 13 goals in his first season in the Premier League, making him a target for Tottenham before an injury prevented his transfer. The player returned to participate in the last three matches for AFC Bournemouth, providing an assist against Leeds United.
According to "TEAMtalk", Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and FC Barcelona are also interested in signing the French forward. Journalist "Pete O'Rourke" believes, via "Football Insider", that a departure in January is unlikely, and that next summer is the most probable time for his transfer.
AFC Bournemouth are determined to keep Junior Kroupi and firmly refuse to allow his departure during the winter transfer window, as the club sees his return as an important addition to the team during the second half of the season, especially with the positive results they are achieving, having won six consecutive matches in all competitions without conceding any goals, scoring 16 goals in the process.
The club's stance is not limited to Kroupi, as they are also refusing to let Marcus Tavernier and Ryan leave during the upcoming winter transfer window.
