English journalist Kaveh Solhekol has sharply criticized Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the minority owner of Manchester United, holding him responsible for the club's current situation due to his decisions regarding management and transfers in recent times.

Sohailkul said: "I will tell you who is responsible for this situation, it is Jim Ratcliffe. He has only bought 29% of Manchester United's shares, allowing the Glazer family to continue controlling the club, while he himself has taken responsibility for managing the football side."

He added: "Ratcliffe arrived believing he knew better than everyone how to run the club, and look at Manchester United's situation after two and a half years. He publicly backed Erik ten Hag while speaking to other coaches behind his back. And when he couldn't find a replacement, he gave him a new contract and money to spend, before sacking him shortly after."

He continued: "The club spent huge amounts to sign Ruben Amorim in the middle of the season, despite wanting to wait until the summer, and despite adopting a completely different tactical system. Dan Ashworth also opposed this appointment, and he ended up leaving the club. After that, United backed Amorim, but the experiment did not succeed, and he was also sacked."

He added: "Michael Carrick was appointed as interim manager, and results improved under his leadership, then the club decided to give him the position permanently."

Sohailkul criticized the contracting policy followed by Ratcliffe, stating: "It imposes restrictions on salaries and deal values, excludes signing high-cost players, and relies on a strategy that changes its priorities from one transfer window to another. In one season, the priority is for forwards, in the next season for midfielders, and then for defenders. The club has also decided to prioritize players who have experience in the Premier League."

He concluded his statements by saying: "This is Jim Ratcliffe's vision for Manchester United, and these are his decisions, which is why he is responsible for the situation the club finds itself in right now."
