Real Madrid close to signing Gabriel after FC Barcelona withdrawal and Paris Saint-Germain rejection
Gigi Gabriel, the jewel of Manchester United, has rejected the latest offer from Paris Saint-Germain, despite the French club improving their financial and sporting proposal in an attempt to convince the 16-year-old player to join their ranks.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Paris Saint-Germain are trying to entice Gabriel by offering a more appealing sporting project, highlighting coach Luis Enrique's role in developing young players and giving them the opportunity to participate with the first team.
The report added that the player prefers to move to Spain to continue his career and develop his skills, but FC Barcelona has decided to withdraw from the deal due to the financial demands of the player and his representatives.
The newspaper reported that Real Madrid are now the closest to securing the services of the young player, who is considered one of the top talents in the Manchester United academy.
The report concluded that Real Madrid is prepared to pay over 10 million euros over three seasons to finalize the deal, but the transfer has not been officially confirmed yet.
