Ter Stegen impresses his teammates at Ajax

German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has made a notable impression in the Ajax dressing room, having earned the respect and praise of his teammates since joining the Dutch side on loan from FC Barcelona during last summer's transfer window.

Marc-André ter Stegen has joined Ajax in search of greater playing opportunities and to regain his form, after his status at FC Barcelona declined due to competition with Juan García, alongside the physical issues he faced in recent seasons.

Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare praised the abilities of the German goalkeeper during statements reported by Belgian newspaper "Het Laatste Nieuws", confirming that facing him in training sometimes turns into a frustrating experience due to his consistent ability to save shots.

Tolu Arokodare said: "Ter Stegen drives me crazy during training, as sometimes it becomes extremely frustrating to see him keep saving so many shots, to the point where you want to punch him!".

The Nigerian striker's praise was not limited to Marc-André ter Stegen, as he also spoke admiringly of Julian Brandt, highlighting his great ability to make decisions on the pitch, whether playing with one touch or moving off the ball at the right moment.

He added: "He is an amazing player during matches, leaving you speechless, as he knows exactly when to play with one touch and when to make a run off the ball."

Tolu Arokodare expressed his happiness with the atmosphere at Ajax, praising coach Michel, the sports facilities, the stadium, the fans, and the style of play, saying: "I love it, I love everyone here. Ajax is like paradise, the training center is top-notch, the stadium is amazing, the fans are incredible, and I love the style of play."
