Kasper Dolberg undergoes successful knee surgery
Denmark's Kasper Dolberg, the Ajax forward, has undergone successful surgery on his right knee today, Tuesday, in the Danish capital Copenhagen, following the injury he sustained during training with the Denmark national team during the international break.
Ajax has confirmed that Dolberg will remain in Denmark for the time being to give his knee enough time to recover before returning to Amsterdam to continue his rehabilitation program with the club.
Kasper Dolberg said: "The surgery on my anterior cruciate ligament went well. Of course, I am happy about that, although this injury represents a significant setback. In the coming period, I will focus entirely on my recovery process, and I will return to Amsterdam soon to continue my rehabilitation program there."
Kasper Dolberg has been injured during a training session with Denmark, before the Danish Football Union confirmed his injury and sent him back to Ajax to continue his treatment.
