Luca Zidane returns to Algeria's squad ahead of November camp

Luca Zidane's name has returned to the list of candidates to strengthen the Algeria national team, after national coach Ibrahim Hamdani included CD Leganés goalkeeper in the expanded list he sent to the Algerian Football Federation two days ago, in preparation for the upcoming November camp, according to journalist Samir Kabbouche.

Zidane's presence in the preliminary list reflects his ongoing consideration by the coaching staff for Algeria, as they await the final list that Hamdani will rely on, based on the goalkeeper's readiness and willingness to participate in the upcoming challenge.

The CD Leganés goalkeeper missed the training camp last September due to a suspension imposed on him. However, he has now served his ban and is eligible to return to the national team starting from the next training camp, should the national coach decide to call him up.

The competition for the Algeria national team's goalkeeper position remains open, with multiple options available to Hamdani, led by Melvin Masteril, the Lausanne goalkeeper, and Abdelatif Ramadan, the goalkeeper for CR Belouizdad, alongside Luca Zidane.

The expanded list includes Rayan Yessli, goalkeeper of Olympique de Akbou, and Rahal, goalkeeper of Mustaqbal de Rouissat, as the Algerian coach will finalize his decision on the goalkeepers who will participate in next November's camp.

Thus, Luka Zidane's fate regarding a return to the Algeria national team remains linked to Hamdani's decision, amid the ongoing competition for places and the anticipation of the announcement of the final squad for the upcoming camp.
