Nadhir Benbouali receives call-up from Algeria despite injury with Pyramids FC
Pyramids FC have received an official notification from the Algerian Football Federation regarding the call-up of their striker Nadhir Benbouali to join the Algeria national team camp during the upcoming international break in November.
The Algeria national team is set to play two matches against Togo in the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 during a training camp that begins on November 9 at the national team's center in Sidi Moussa, Algeria, and continues until the 18th of the same month.
Nadhir Benbouali has been called up at a time when Pyramids FC announced on Saturday that the Algerian forward has suffered an injury, without revealing the expected duration of his absence from the pitch, raising questions about his readiness to participate with his national team during the international break.
Nadhir Benbouali has played seven matches for Pyramids FC this season, successfully scoring three goals, before suffering an injury in the match against Al-Merrikh.
