Al Ahly FC interested in signing Algeria defender

Algerian defender Achref Abada is among the options being considered by Al Ahly FC to strengthen their backline during the upcoming winter transfer window. This news comes after journalist Amir Hicham revealed the club's interest in the player on his show "Modern Sports" on Modern MTI channel.

Amir Hicham reports that Algerian defender Achref Abada is emerging as one of the strong candidates to join Al Ahly FC in January. The player possesses tactical flexibility that allows him to play as a right-back in addition to his primary position as a centre-back, as well as having previous international experience with his national team in the Arab Cup.

He added that there is admiration within Al Ahly FC for the technical abilities possessed by Algerian defender Achref Abada, confirming that his name is already included in the club's considerations at the moment, as part of the moves related to strengthening the defensive line during the winter transfer window.

These moves reflect Al Ahly FC's serious desire to fill defensive gaps and secure depth in the squad before embarking on upcoming local and continental competitions. The matter of finalizing the Achref Abada deal remains pending in the coming days, depending on the outcome of official negotiations between the concerned parties.
