Al Ahly FC's draw against Qanah FC in the Egyptian League has sparked anger within the club, as the decline in results and performance continues. The repercussions of this setback have gone beyond fan and media criticism, reaching the team's dressing room, amid reports of tension between the players, coaching staff, and management.

Al Ahly FC's media, whether through the club's channel or from several close associates on social media, has sharply criticized Moroccan coach Al-Hussein Amouta, along with a group of players led by Emam Ashour, Marwan Ateya, and Ahmed Mostafa "Zizo", in addition to Mostafa Shobeir and Mohamed Hany.

According to media reports following the match, Amouta and director of football Wael Gomaa directed strong criticism at several players inside the dressing room after the draw, which caused discontent within the ranks of the team.

Reports indicate that several players have voiced their objections to the way the crisis of declining results is being managed in the media, believing that the responsibility is constantly placed on the players, with criticisms directed at specific names over others.

Some players have expressed their anger over leaks regarding their reprimand in the dressing room following the match against Qanah FC, amid increasing pressure surrounding the team in recent times.

This is not the first crisis of its kind since the beginning of the season, as Al Ahly FC has experienced similar situations. The latest incident, according to reports, involved a reprimand from coach Amouta to player Ali Mahmoud, alongside a growing tension in his dealings with the director of football Wael Gomaa.

After the recent draw, Gomaa sent strong messages to the players, hinting at the exclusion of some from the team's plans in the upcoming phase. In the same context, Mahmoud El Khatib, the club president, emphasized the need to correct the course during a ceremony honoring several sports teams at Al Ahly FC that achieved continental titles over the past two weeks.

Pressure is mounting on the coaching staff and management due to the lack of expected results from the summer signings made by the club, despite the appointment of a coach with extensive experience like Al-Hussein Amouta.

The continued decline in performance and results has led to rising tensions within the club, both at the board level and among fans, amid anticipation of what the upcoming period will bring in terms of moves to restore stability to the team and correct its course in local competitions.
