Mohamed Hany makes new request regarding contract renewal with Al Ahly FC

Details of Mohamed Hany's new contract with Al Ahly FC are yet to be finalized. Sports critic Karim Rizqallah revealed that there is a key obstacle between the management and the player, revolving around the number of renewal years required.

Kareem Rizqallah has stated in television remarks that Mohamed Hany held a meeting with Sayed Abdelhafiz during Al Ahly FC's trip to Uganda, during which they agreed to renew the player's contract for two seasons, resolving the dispute regarding the participation percentage in matches.

He added that a final agreement had been reached between Mohamed Hany and the management of Al Ahly FC that he would sign the new contracts upon the delegation's return to Cairo after an agreement was reached regarding the duration of the renewal, without continuing the debate over his participation rate with the team.

Disagreements have resurfaced between Al Ahly FC management and Mohamed Hany following the team's return. This comes after the player requested to extend his new contract to three seasons, a request that the management firmly rejected, insisting on the initial agreement which stipulates a renewal for only two seasons.

It was pointed out that this difference has brought the negotiations back to the point of contention regarding the duration of the contract, after the agreement had nearly been finalized during the player's meeting with Sayed Abdel Hafiz in Uganda.

Mohamed Hany's future with Al Ahly FC remains uncertain as the player seeks a long-term contract while the management insists on a two-year renewal policy. The coming days will reveal whether both parties can reach a consensus or if matters will take a different direction.
