According to "Youm7", Yasser Ibrahim, Al Ahly's defender, is awaiting a crucial medical test tomorrow, Saturday, to determine his readiness to return to team training. This procedure comes after he felt pain in his ankle during the team's training session yesterday, Thursday, coinciding with Al Ahly's preparations to face Ugandan side Kitarra.

Al Ahly will face Ugandan side Kitarra next Sunday in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32.

The newspaper reported that ankle pain forced Al Ahly player Yasser Ibrahim to leave the team's training session yesterday, Thursday, without completing it, shortly after he had joined the group training.

This setback comes after the player had recently recovered from a previous ankle sprain he sustained about a month and a half ago during a match against Al Mokawloon Al Arab in the domestic league, specifically on September 9.
