Eddie Howe interested in managing Manchester United

Manchester United have already begun identifying potential alternatives to Michael Carrick for the team's managerial position, as the club explores its options for the next phase.

Sami Maqbel, a correspondent for the BBC, reported that Eddie Howe is strongly interested in taking over as manager of Manchester United, making him one of the names being considered to lead the team.

The report adds that Antonio Conte and Julian Nagelsmann are among the coaches also interested in taking on the role, as the club considers its coaching options.

Manchester United have not yet made a formal offer for Howe, and no final decision has been made regarding Carrick's future.
