Chelsea and Manchester United eye Nico Paz as Real Madrid hold the key
Chelsea and Manchester United have entered a potential race to sign Argentine Nico Paz, a player for Italian club Como, after he caught the eye with his impressive performances. There is increasing interest from top European clubs in securing his signature in the upcoming period, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.
The two English clubs are closely monitoring the player's development, with the possibility of moving to sign him in the future, given the levels he is showing with Como, which have made him one of the most promising talents in European football.
Despite English interest, Real Madrid retains the option to buy back Nico Paz for €80 million, with the activation of this clause available in the summer of 2027, according to the agreement announced between the Spanish club and Como.
In contrast, Como hope to retain the services of Argentine player and continue to rely on him within their sporting project, especially given his importance to the team under Cesc Fàbregas, which makes his future a point of interest in the coming period, with anticipation regarding Real Madrid's position on activating the buy-back clause.
