Arsenal target Nicolò Tresoldi in January amid uncertainty over Giakoumakis' future

Arsenal are targeting a move for German striker Nicolò Tresoldi, currently at Club Brugge, during the upcoming winter transfer window, amid uncertainty surrounding the future of their Swedish forward Viktor Gyökeres, according to Football London.

Nicolò Tresoldi, aged 22, has scored 9 goals in 12 matches across all competitions this season, including 4 goals in 2 UEFA Champions League matches. He found the net against Aston Villa last September and also scored during Club Brugge's thrilling 4-3 victory over AC Milan.

According to reports, Arsenal are monitoring the young striker after Club Brugge rejected a £30 million offer from AS Roma for his services last summer, amid estimates that the player's value has risen to around £42 million.

Tresoldi is attracting interest from AC Milan, who may have the edge in the race to sign him, having supported the Italian club since childhood.

Arsenal are interested in the German striker amid reports suggesting that Giocares wants to leave in January due to a lack of regular playing time under Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal have a good relationship with Club Brugge after signing Christos Tzolis from the Belgian club for £35 million last summer.
