Arteta: The margins were slim, we await an exceptional match

Mikel Arteta, the head coach of Arsenal, spoke about his team's victory over Nottingham Forest by a goal to nil in the Premier League, confirming that the match was difficult due to the opponent's good defensive organization.

Arteta said in statements to "Sky Sports": "We knew that the differences would be very small, they are a well-organized team and work under excellent management. The longer the match went on, the more confidence they gained, so we had to be very patient and take advantage of the opportunities that came our way."

Arsenal's manager added: "Nottingham Forest were more comfortable in their defensive approach, but we have players with different abilities, and we can adapt to the nature of the match and what it demands from us."

He continued: "We had three more big chances that should have turned into goals. That is the difference, we need to be more effective in front of goal, and if we keep creating these chances, the goals will come."

Mikel Arteta concluded his remarks by saying: "We have to enjoy this victory, as it came after a very difficult match. After that, we will start preparing to face Bayern Munich away on Wednesday, in an exceptional game."
