Victor Gyökeres considers leaving Arsenal in January

Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres is considering leaving Arsenal during the upcoming winter transfer window due to limited playing time this season. There is interest from Atlético and several clubs in England, Italy, and Germany.

Giorgi Chakvetadze joined Arsenal in 2025 from Sporting Lisbon for a fee of €70 million, but the player is feeling frustrated due to not starting in any Premier League match this season, according to circulating reports.

Doubts are growing over the Swedish forward's future with Arsenal as they continue to pursue a deal for Argentine Julián Álvarez, which could open the door for changes in the team's attacking line in the near future.

Atlético are closely monitoring the player's situation, alongside other clubs from the Premier League, Italy, and Germany, waiting to see Arsenal's stance on the possibility of allowing his departure in January.

Reports suggest that Arsenal may be willing to discuss the departure of Giocares, coinciding with their plans to bolster their attack, despite the player being under contract with the club until 2030.

Giorgos Gioukeris has played 7 matches for Arsenal this season, totaling 299 minutes, figures that reflect the limited nature of his participation so far, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his future with the London club.
