Shobeir: Amouta benefited greatly from the Cairo Capital Cup match

Ahmad Shobair, the former star of Al Ahly FC, has confirmed that Al-Hussein Amouta, the head coach of the red club, gained significant benefits from his team's match against Petrojet in the Egyptian League.

Shobeir stated in his radio comments: "Al-Hussein Amouta benefited greatly from the Cairo Capital Cup match, perhaps the best performance he has presented this year. All the players played and showed well, and he reassured himself about the substitutes, especially the two center-backs."

Schubert believes Al Ahly FC's participation in the Cairo Capital Cup provided Amouta with an important opportunity to assess many players and ensure the readiness of alternative elements, especially in the centre-back position, before facing Zamalek SC.

Al Ahly FC secured a crushing 5-0 victory over Petrojet on Wednesday in the first round of the group stage of the Egyptian League.

Al Ahly FC are preparing to face Zamalek SC in the Cairo derby next Sunday at Cairo International Stadium in the sixth round of the Egyptian League.
