Al Ahly FC doctor reveals details of Afsha's injury in match against Petrol Asyut

Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, head of the medical staff at Al Ahly FC, revealed details of the injury sustained by Afsha during the match against Petrol Asyut in the Cairo Capital Cup.

Gab Allah stated in an official statement that Afsha has complained of minor pain in his calf muscle, explaining that the coaching staff decided to substitute him at half-time to avoid aggravating the injury.

Al Ahly FC finished the first half leading by two goals to nil against Petrol Asyut in the opening round of the group stage of the Cairo Capital Cup.

Afsha opened the scoring for Al Ahly FC in the 3rd minute, taking advantage of pressure from Taher Mohamed on the Petrol Asyut goalkeeper, to gain possession in front of an empty net and easily slot it home.

Sofiane Ben Jeddah added the second goal in the 34th minute, after Hussein El Shahat passed the ball to him inside the penalty area, allowing Ben Jeddah to shoot it low into the net, marking his first goal in an Al Ahly FC shirt.
