Manchester City appeals against Premier League's decision in disciplinary case
Manchester City have officially announced their appeal against the Premier League's panel ruling regarding the disciplinary case linked to the club.
Manchester City has confirmed that the appeal was submitted at 7 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026, emphasizing that its position is that there are "clear fundamental errors in law, principles, and facts" within the committee's opinion, considering the decision to be "unsafe".
The club said in its statement that it is "innocent of the accusations made against it by the Premier League", affirming that it possesses "a comprehensive set of compelling evidence" that supports all its positions in the case.
Manchester City has clarified that it will continue to respect legal proceedings, noting that it is "necessarily constrained in what it can say further" until all stages of the proceedings are completed.
