Graham Potter mocks Manchester City with striking statement

Graham Potter, the head coach of the Sweden national team, took the opportunity at the press conference before the match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League to mock Manchester City, as his team is suffering from numerous absences due to injuries and illness.

Graham Potter joked during the press conference: "We have a number of absentees equal to the number of charges against Manchester City," referring to the case regarding the club's breach of financial regulations, in which City was found guilty of committing 114 violations according to the report.

The English coach's remarks sparked some smiles during the conference, but he then spoke seriously about the situation of the Sweden national team, explaining: "We have been hit by an infection or virus. The situation is not ideal, and it is sad, not good for football or the league, but we have to work with the players we have and not think about an ideal world where everyone is available."

The financial case involving Manchester City has seen judicial developments, with the club filing an appeal against the ruling issued against it.
