England have suffered another blow during the international break, with Nico O'Reilly ruled out of their next two UEFA Nations League matches due to injury.

Nico O'Reilly has left the England camp in Croatia, returning to Manchester to join his club and undergo further medical examinations and treatment, confirming his absence from the match against Croatia, scheduled to take place next Saturday in Rijeka, as well as the encounter with the Czech Republic next Tuesday at Wembley.

The English Football Association did not specify the nature of the injury that the player is suffering from, but Nico O'Reilly has already missed England's 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic in Prague, and he did not participate in one of the training sessions that followed the first match against Spain.

The English Football Association stated in an official statement: "Nico O'Reilly has returned to Manchester City and will not participate in upcoming UEFA Nations League matches."

The statement added: "The left-back missed the 2-0 win against the Czech Republic in Prague and has now returned to his club for further tests and evaluation. No other replacement will be called up as the Three Lions prepare to face Croatia in Rijeka on Saturday, before returning to Wembley to take on the Czech Republic on Tuesday."

Nico O'Reilly becomes the sixth player to miss out on Thomas Tuchel's squad due to injury, following Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Marcus Rashford, Kobie Mainoo, and Tino Livramento.

England continue their preparations for the match against Croatia amid ongoing absences that have limited options for Tuchel during the current international break.
