Real Madrid has issued an official statement following UEFA's announcement of receiving the complaint and documents submitted by the club regarding what is known as the Negreira case.


Real Madrid has confirmed that UEFA has received the complaint submitted by the club, alongside the ongoing investigation into the payments made by FC Barcelona over the past two decades to José María Enriquez Negreira, former vice president of the Technical Committee of Referees.


The club has stated that the complaint includes documents and evidence it describes as relating to extremely serious incidents, considering that they directly affect the integrity of competition and trust in the refereeing system.


Real Madrid has called for the investigation to proceed as quickly as possible until its conclusion, and for the relevant authorities to make appropriate decisions based on the seriousness of the facts established by the investigation.


The club emphasized that it will continue to cooperate effectively with UEFA and take all available measures to clarify the circumstances of the case.
