Inter and FC Barcelona monitor Leeds United defender
Inter have returned to monitoring Tarik Muharimovic, the Leeds United defender, after failing in their attempt to sign him during the last summer transfer window, while FC Barcelona has also entered the list of clubs interested in the player.
TEAMtalk reported that Inter had reached an agreement with Mahramovic, who is 23 years old, regarding personal terms, but negotiations with US Sassuolo were not completed, allowing Leeds United to finalize the deal for €40 million.
The Bosnian defender has made a strong start with Leeds United, becoming a key figure in the team's defense, thanks to his performances that have caught the attention of several European clubs.
Inter remain interested in the player, especially with their future plans in defence, as they have placed Mahrmovic on their list of targets after monitoring him throughout the current season.
Meanwhile, the same source clarified that FC Barcelona is also monitoring Mahramovic, after the player was among the Catalan club's interests during the summer, before they resumed following his development with Leeds United.
Moharimovic is contracted to Leeds United until 2031, and the English club does not intend to allow his departure, despite ongoing interest from Inter and FC Barcelona in the Bosnian defender.
