Liverpool eye Givairo Read as right-back solution

Liverpool are continuing to monitor young Dutch player Givairo Read, a full-back for Feyenoord, following his strong start to the season, amid interest from Arsenal and Manchester City, according to TEAMtalk.

Givairo Read, aged 20, has impressed at Feyenoord, contributing five assists in seven matches in the Netherlands. He was close to a move to the Premier League during the summer, following interest from Nottingham Forest, Everton, and Roma, but the deal did not go through.

Liverpool see Givairo Read as a potential solution to their right-back problem, given the inconsistent form of Jeremy Frimpong, which has led Andoni Iraola to deploy Ronald Araújo, on loan from Barcelona, in that position for the last three league matches.
