Mikel Arteta, the head coach of Arsenal, expressed his happiness at the victory over Hull City by a goal to nil in the 10th round of the Premier League, praising the level his players showed during the match, as well as the effort they put in since the end of the international break.

Mikel Arteta said in statements to "BBC": "I am very happy with the performance and the victory as well. I think the time has come to praise my players, as what they have done not just today, but since returning from the international break, is worthy of appreciation, especially given the matches we have played."

He added: "We had to be patient and wait during the final minutes of the match until we could make the difference and achieve victory. We continued to create chances, but the final touch was missing, whether in the decisive pass or the shot that was blocked by the defense. We said at half-time that if things continued this way, the match would remain open until the end, but a goal would come at some point."

Arsenal's manager stated: "We provided wonderful moments, but we need to convert the chances we create against opponents into goals, and that is the aspect we need to improve."

Regarding the referee's decision not to award a penalty to Arsenal, Arteta explained: "I don't know. When the referee went to the video screen, I thought it was a penalty, but then I heard that the decision was made because there was an offside. We don't have a clear explanation of what happened."
