Frimpong enters Al Hilal's radar
Dutch full-back Jeremy Frimpong, of Liverpool, has entered Al Hilal's sights after his name was put forward to the club's officials to explore the possibility of signing him during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Reports indicate that intermediaries have offered the player's services to Al Hilal, as he is open to leaving Liverpool for a new professional experience in the Saudi Pro League.
Frempong has joined Liverpool during the summer of 2025, coming from Bayer 04 Leverkusen, in a deal valued at around €40 million.
In his first season with the English team, the player made 35 appearances across all competitions and managed to score two goals, despite his participation being affected by recurring injuries.
The Dutch full-back is currently sidelined for Liverpool due to a muscle injury sustained against Brentford on October 17, after coming on as a substitute at the start of the second half.
On the international stage, Frempong has been left out of the Netherlands squad participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, after coach Ronald Koeman decided to exclude him for technical reasons.
