El Aynaoui shines with Leipzig and reveals the secret of his quick adaptation

Moroccan international Neil El Aynaoui expressed his satisfaction with the level shown by Leipzig during their impressive 5-0 victory over Hamburg on Sunday. He confirmed that his start with the German team is going positively and that he has quickly adapted to the club's atmosphere.

Neil El Aynaoui stated in remarks to RB Leipzig's official website that he is happy with the victory and the performance the team delivered, explaining: "I am very happy not only with the result but also with the team's performance."

He added: "It was very important for us to show a reaction," referring to RB Leipzig's desire to overcome the loss against Como and regain their winning rhythm.

The Moroccan player discussed the roles he can perform in midfield, emphasizing his ability to play in multiple positions. He said: "I can play in both positions, either as a defensive midfielder or as a central midfielder, and I always play in the place where the team needs me. Moroccans generally run a lot, and I believe I carry that in my blood."

Despite focusing on the defensive side, Neil El Aynaoui stressed his desire to also provide an offensive contribution and not just win the ball back, saying: "I also try to involve my teammates in the play," referring to his efforts to help build attacks and assist his colleagues.

The Moroccan international also touched on the differences he noticed between Ligue 1, Serie A, and the Bundesliga, explaining: "The Bundesliga is very attacking, while Serie A is more defensive, with fewer goals scored and matches being closer. In contrast, Ligue 1 is a mix of both."

Neil El Aynaoui confirmed at the end of his talk that he feels comfortable since his transfer to Leipzig, praising the reception he received from his teammates and the coaching staff. He said: "I was welcomed well by everyone. The team and the coach made my integration here very easy."
