Mariska: We imposed our control against RB Leipzig, winning away is not easy

Enzo Maresca, the manager of Manchester City, expressed his happiness at the 3-2 victory over RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League, confirming that his team faced some difficulties during the match, but managed to deal with them and secure the three points.

Mariska said: "It was a difficult match at times, we imposed our control well, but we faced some difficulties at certain moments. Playing away in Germany in the UEFA Champions League is tough, so I am happy to get the three points."

He added: "RB Leipzig are a well-organized team, and they were fierce and dangerous through their players on the flanks. We had to be careful when transitioning from defense to attack. I am happy with the three points, and now we need to regain our fitness and move forward."

Manchester City manager spoke about his relationship with RB Leipzig's coach, after sitting next to him on the bench, saying: "He is a very close friend, and we have a strong relationship. He is doing a great job in the league, and I hope his team can perform better in the UEFA Champions League as well."
