Dembélé leads Paris Saint-Germain to 600th European goal
Paris Saint-Germain achieved a historic milestone during their emphatic 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava, as the team scored their 600th goal in their history in international competitions under UEFA and FIFA, at the start of their campaign to defend the UEFA Champions League title.
The historic goal came from Ousmane Dembélé in the 17th minute, when he opened the scoring for the Parisian team, before the same player added a second goal in the 23rd minute, putting Paris on the path to a big victory and etching his name as the scorer who took the club to the milestone of 600 international goals.
The goal festival did not stop at Dembélé's brace, as Ferran Torres added three goals in the 31st, 47th, and 57th minutes, while Fabián Ruiz scored the sixth goal in the 88th minute. Meanwhile, Sulayman Kamara netted Slovan's only goal in the 58th minute.
With this victory, Paris Saint-Germain have begun their campaign to defend their European title in the best possible way, achieving a comprehensive win at the Parc des Princes and confirming that their ambition extends beyond merely retaining the title to continuing to break records on the continental stage.
