Paris Saint-Germain moves to renew Achraf Hakimi's contract

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi continued to affirm his importance within the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain, delivering an exceptional performance during the comprehensive win over Le Havre by five goals to one in Ligue 1, contributing to the victory by scoring three goals and assisting two.

In light of the outstanding levels displayed by the Moroccan full-back, the management of Paris Saint-Germain is set to open discussions regarding the renewal of his contract, aiming to ensure his continued presence with the team for additional years, despite his current deal running until the summer of 2029.

According to the French newspaper 'L'Équipe', officials at Paris Saint-Germain want to extend Achraf Hakimi's contract, but the player's camp is not approaching this issue with the same urgency, preferring to be patient and avoid entering into early negotiations.

Sources close to Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi believe it is still too early to discuss a new contract, especially since his last extension with the French club was only about two years ago, which explains their calm stance regarding the desire of Paris Saint-Germain's management.
