Al-Hilal officially announces the signing of Brazilian Martinelli from Arsenal

Al-Hilal have officially announced the signing of Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal to strengthen the squad during the current summer transfer window.

Gabriel Martinelli, 25, has arrived in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, in recent days ahead of his successful medical tests for a transfer to Al-Hilal.

The transfer fee reached around €70 million, which is approximately 305 million Saudi Arabia riyals, making it the most expensive sale in the history of Arsenal.

The Brazilian star has signed a contract with Al-Hilal that extends for four seasons, keeping him at the Saudi club until the summer of 2030. This deal reflects the big ambitions of 'the Leader'.

Gabriel Martinelli is expected to receive an annual salary of around €20 million as part of the agreement he reached with the management of Al-Hilal after completing all the procedures related to his transfer.

Al-Hilal have benefited from the ongoing registration period in Saudi Arabia, despite the closure of the transfer market in the Premier League, as the local registration window continues until September 6.

Gabriel Martinelli becomes the third player to join Al-Hilal from the Premier League during the current summer transfer window, following Dutchman Crysencio Summerville and Englishman Ollie Watkins.

The deal provides Al-Hilal with a strong attacking boost, given Martinelli's extensive experience with Arsenal and his ability to play in multiple positions up front.

Al-Hilal continues its strong moves in the transfer market, having successfully attracted prominent names from the Premier League as part of its plan to strengthen the team and compete in various competitions.
