Real Madrid monitoring Quansah to strengthen defence

Real Madrid are closely monitoring English defender Jarell Quansah, a player for Bayer 04 Leverkusen, as the Spanish club seeks long-term solutions to strengthen their defense in the upcoming period.

According to reports, Jarell Quansah is admired by Real Madrid officials due to his great potential and ability to play in more than one defensive position, whether as a centre-back or as a right-back, which gives him an additional advantage in the calculations of the royal club.

Jarell Quansah has joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen from Liverpool in the summer of 2025, and he is tied to the German club with a contract until 2030. Liverpool also retains a buy-back clause for the player for €70 million until June 15, 2027.

The English defender is attracting interest not only from Real Madrid but also from prominent clubs in the Premier League, including Chelsea and Arsenal, which could make his future a subject of intense competition during the upcoming transfer window.
