Bouanani close to Rangers move

Algerian international Badr Eddine Bouanani is on the verge of joining Rangers, with negotiations between the various parties entering their final stages, according to Sky Sport Germany.

The Algerian winger is currently in Scotland undergoing necessary medical examinations as he completes the final procedures related to his transfer to Rangers, ahead of the official announcement of the deal in the coming period.

According to the circulating information, Bouanani will wear the shirt of the Scottish club on loan for one season, coming from Stuttgart, with the agreement including a clause that allows Rangers to purchase the player's contract permanently.

Bild reports that the purchase option is valued at around €18 million, giving the Scottish club the chance to retain the services of the Algerian winger permanently if satisfied with his performance during the loan period.

Bouanani joined Stuttgart from Nice during last season, but he is now close to leaving the German club temporarily to embark on his first experience in the Scottish league.

Rangers is set to be a new chapter in the Algerian player's career as he seeks more playing time and to showcase his attacking abilities next season, pending the completion of his medical examination and administrative procedures before the official announcement of his transfer.
