Undav admits disappointment after being left out of Klopp's squad

Deniz Ündav, Stuttgart forward and Germany international, missed the first gathering of the national team under coach Jürgen Klopp, leaving the player frustrated.

Undav said in statements to "Sky Sports" following his exclusion: "I felt disappointed for a short period, because I thought I had built some sort of credit that gave me a bit of security, through the FIFA World Cup and the matches I played with the national team."

He added: "But it seems that this is not the case again, and I have to prove myself once more, to give everything I have again, and to convince another coach that I deserve to be part of the national team."

Undav's exclusion from Klopp's first squad highlights the need for the striker to continue delivering strong performances with his club to return to the German national team's considerations for upcoming competitions.
