Bayern Munich and Stuttgart reduce penalties after DFB-Pokal final incidents

Bayern Munich and Stuttgart have successfully reduced the financial penalties imposed on them by the German Football Association's sports court due to the use of fireworks during the DFB-Pokal final.

The sports court initially ordered both clubs to pay a fine of €260,000 each, before Bayern Munich and Stuttgart appealed the decision.

Following the review of the appeals, it was decided to reduce the fine imposed on Stuttgart to €200,000, while Bayern Munich received a larger reduction, bringing their penalty down to just €170,000.

Thus, both clubs have succeeded in reducing the financial penalties that were issued against them following the events of the DFB-Pokal final, while the German Football Association retains the adjusted fines related to the use of fireworks during the match.
