Freiburg sign Louay Ben Farhat and loan him to Karlsruhe

Freiburg have announced the signing of young Tunisian forward Louay Ben Farhat, who is 20 years old, from Karlsruhe. The player will continue his journey with his current team on loan during the initial phase of the agreement.

Ben Furhat began his career with Karlsruher SC after moving from Stuttgart Kickers during his youth development. He made his first appearance with the first team in the German 2. Bundesliga at the age of 17 in March 2024.

The player's journey last season included a tough period, as he suffered a fracture in one of the bones of his foot in August, which caused him to be sidelined for a long time during the first half of the season. However, he regained his fitness after the winter break, participating in all of his team's matches and scoring five goals.

Ben Farhat has played 36 matches for the first team of Karlsruher SC, during which he has managed to score nine goals and provide three assists. He also made his debut with the Tunisian national team, participating in two friendly matches wearing the 'Eagles of Carthage' jersey this year.
