CS Sfaxien signs Olympic striker Walid Dhouib for two seasons

CS Sfaxien have officially signed international forward Walid Dhouib from the Olympic national team on a free transfer for two seasons. The team continues to strengthen its squad during the current summer transfer window.

Walid Dhouib has joined CS Sfaxien following the end of his experience with Lithuanian club Sudava, becoming the eighth signing for the southern capital team during the current transfer window, as part of the management's efforts to strengthen the squad with new players.

The Tunisian striker has previously had several foreign experiences, where he played for Al Ahli Dubai in the UAE, Rio Ave in Portugal, alongside Suduva in Lithuania, before returning to the Tunisian league through CS Sfaxien.

According to the details of the deal, Walid Dhouib has signed a contract that extends for two seasons, ensuring his association with the club until June 2028. The contract also includes a partial release clause valued at €600,000, allowing the player to leave if he receives an external offer that covers the value of the release clause.

Walid Dhouib is the eighth signing for CS Sfaxien during the current summer transfer window, following the acquisitions of Abdel Salam El Halawi, Moamen Rahmani, Ghaith Al-Saghir, Hakim Moutaibi, Joslina Loulindo, Mohamed Amer Al-Juwaini, and Jacques Mbé.

The new striker is expected to join the team's training immediately after completing his international commitments with the Tunisia U23 national team during their participation in the Mediterranean Games in Italy.
