Al Ahly FC makes official offer for Maaloul as Sfaxien hold on to their captain

Ali Maaloul, captain of CS Sfaxien, has received an official offer from Al Ahly FC of Benghazi, who have expressed their desire to sign the left-back in the upcoming period.

According to Libyan media, the offer made to the management of Sfax amounted to around $800,000 for the services of Maaloul.

For its part, Club Sfaxien's management has confirmed its commitment to the team captain, with the club's spokesperson Ahmed Jbeil stating that Maaloul is an important element within the team, not only for his role on the pitch but also for the support and guidance he provides to young players.

The Libyan offer comes as Ali Maaloul continues to lead Sfaxien, with the club's management eager to retain his services and benefit from his experience within the team.
