ES Zarzis and Club Africain begin their CAF Champions League journey

Tunisian clubs are preparing to start their journey in African competitions, with the first leg of the preliminary round matches for the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, according to the schedule set by the Confederation of African Football.

ES Zarzis will kick off Tunisian clubs' participation in continental competitions when they host Senegal's Diambars on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri.

In the CAF Champions League, Club Africain will face Djoliba on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Hamadi Agrebi Stadium in Rades.

Club Sfaxien will visit Nigeria's Shooting Stars on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Al-Hurriya SC Stadium in Nigeria.

In contrast, ES Zarzis will not participate in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, as they have been exempted from this stage, and will begin their continental journey from the next round.
