PSG Confirms Stance on Chevalier and Zbarny
Paris Saint-Germain has clarified its stance on the futures of Lucas Chevalier and Illya Zabarnyi, after both players struggled to secure their places in the starting lineup during their first season with the team.
Shovalyi joined Paris Saint-Germain from Lille, while Zabarni arrived from Bournemouth last summer. However, the French goalkeeper lost his starting position this season to Matvei Safonov, while the Ukrainian defender has been unable to establish himself as a regular starter amid competition with Marquinhos.
According to "Foot Mercato", Paris Saint-Germain has no plans to offload players during the current summer transfer window, as the club has decided to keep Chevalier and Zbarny in their squad.
The two players are contracted with Paris Saint-Germain until 2030, meaning they will continue with the team next season, despite strong competition for their positions.
Chouffalier participated in 26 matches wearing the Paris Saint-Germain jersey last season, while Zabarnyi played 37 matches, scoring one goal.
