DFB-Pokal: Frankfurt Crushes St. Tönis 11-0 to Reach Round of 16

Eintracht Frankfurt delivered a stunning performance against St. Tönis, a fifth-tier German club, winning 11-0 on Friday night, easily securing their place in the Round of 16 of the DFB-Pokal.

Frankfurt imposed its dominance from the start, opening the scoring in the fourth minute, before the match turned into a goal-fest, with the team finishing the first half leading 10-0.

Jonathan Burkardt excelled by scoring a hat-trick, while Turkish player Can Özun added two goals, and there was one goal each from Ayoub Maimouni, Younes Ben Taleb, and Robin Koch before Mario Götze capped off the goal fest.

In the second half, Frankfurt reduced their intensity after the match and qualification were settled early, giving the coach the opportunity to make several substitutions and provide playing time to some of his players. At the end, Fares Chaibi capped off the match with the final goal.

Eintracht Frankfurt is now preparing for the return of the Bundesliga, as they visit Union Berlin in the next round.
