Klopp presses to convince Younes Ebnoutalib to represent Germany

Younes Ebnoutalib, the Eintracht Frankfurt player, has come under the interest of Germany coach Jürgen Klopp, who is looking to convince the Moroccan player to choose to represent the Germany national team instead of defending the colors of the Morocco national team.

Sky Sports revealed that Klopp visited Eintracht Frankfurt's headquarters, where he met with several team members, including Younes Ebnoutalib. Photos shared by the club through its official channels showed a glimpse of the conversation between the two parties.

According to the same source, the German coach had an extensive conversation with the 22-year-old player regarding his potential representation of the Germany national team, alongside his eligibility to play for the Morocco national team.

Jürgen Klopp has expressed his great admiration for the abilities that Younes Ebnoutalib possesses, and he wishes to convince him to choose the Germany national team in the upcoming phase, given the remarkable development the player is showing with his club, Eintracht Frankfurt.

Younes Ebnoutalib is eligible to represent the Germany national team, having been born in Frankfurt to a German mother and a Moroccan father. He has also previously received a call-up to represent the Morocco national team at under-15 level.

The player has drawn attention with a strong start to the new season in the Bundesliga, having made an exceptional offensive beginning by scoring three goals, a hat-trick, against Union Berlin, during the match that ended in a 3-3 draw.

Younes Ebnoutalib's international future is now open to two options: continuing his association with Moroccan football, which he has previously represented at youth levels, or responding to the efforts of German coach Jürgen Klopp and wearing the shirt of the senior German national team.
